What campers say

Beautiful, wooded campground inside the park with close-up wildlife sightings (elk, deer, fox, coyotes) and river access. Campsites feel private; many sites have bear-proof boxes. Amenities include clean restrooms, potable water (though some services are limited in winter and a visitor center fill station may be needed), a small on-site shop and firewood sales, and a dump station at the entrance. It's close to Estes Park. Tradeoffs: occasional loud noise from a nearby wedding venue has disrupted evenings for some visitors, and some sites can have sooty fire-ring areas. Bring earplugs and plan for seasonal service changes.
