Aspen Acres Campground sits minutes from Bishop’s Castle and Lake Isabel, set among aspen and pine with nearby trails. Sites and small cabins offer fire rings, picnic tables, heat in cabins and access to a large, family-oriented clubhouse and rec room (pool, ping-pong, kitchen) that kids enjoy. Hosts are generally friendly and there’s a small dog park. Many visitors praise the peaceful, tree-filled setting and clean facilities, though some guests reported uneven bathroom cleaning and occasional confusion or issues with electrical hookups and site assignments. RV sites can feel fairly close together, so expect modest spacing.

📖 About This Campground

Aspen Acres is a quiet RV campground located in the less traveled San Isabel mountain range, only 25 minutes from I-25 at 9200 ft.  We are right off of Colorado Scenic Byway 165 between Colorado City and Westcliff in Rye, Colorado. Our R.V. sites all provide standard hook ups and are gravel and grass. We don't believe in asphalt and concrete pads up here in the mountains. Each site has water, electric (30 amp and a few 50amp), and all but sites 1-5 have sewer.  Wifi is available close to our office for those who want to connect.
