Alder Creek Camp is a small, primitive, secluded campground reached by several miles of winding, rutted dirt road. All‑wheel or four‑wheel drive is recommended and trailers are generally impractical. There are two to three campsites with picnic tables and steel fire rings but no potable water, toilets, or fees. A seasonal creek runs through the site and can be pleasant for wading, though water should be treated before drinking. The site is largely unmaintained and can be overgrown, buggy, and bordered by poison oak. Best for self‑sufficient car or tent campers seeking solitude rather than amenities.
