Acorn Acres is a well-kept, family-oriented campground in a quiet country setting. Staff and many longtime campers are described as welcoming and helpful, and the grounds and bathrooms are regularly cleaned. On-site amenities include a large pool with a shallow area, a pond for paddle boats and boards, mini golf, playgrounds and sports courts, plus frequent events. Sites and accommodations support RVs, tents and cabins, and the gated entrance adds a sense of security. A few guests note rental cabins are very basic with limited plumbing and rustic beds, and resident personalities can vary.
