Really helpful and friendly staff. Like a family there. Close to town, which is the main attraction in the area. Columbia, old western townpark and Jackson which has live steam trains and a working roundhouse and turntable! Fun area to explore in the gold country.

What campers say
49er RV Ranch is a small, family-run RV park well situated for exploring Gold Country and nearby Columbia Historic Park. Guests commonly praise the friendly, helpful staff and practical amenities — clean restrooms, showers, laundry, Wi‑Fi, a small store and full hookups. Sites are short and close together and many are long-term, so larger rigs (roughly over 30 ft) can have difficulty maneuvering and there’s little space for kids to play. Road noise and tight turns are occasionally noted, though some find it quiet. Check site dimensions and driving routes before booking.

Stayed for two nights while traveling the historic gold towns of the western Sierra. The park is mostly long term residents with a few spots for short term tenants. A bit tight with our large rig but once in the location suited our needs. By no means a destination park this location works if like us you are looking for a place to park hookup, and venture out. Bathrooms were not clean so plan on being self contained. Easy walk into town.
