What campers say

West Thompson Lake Campground is a quiet, well-kept spot with roomy, well-spaced sites and friendly hosts. Most sites offer water and 30A electric; a dump station and firewood are available. Bathhouses are clean with hot, high-pressure showers (typically one shower stall per building). Trails and easy lake access make kayaking and hiking appealing, and nearby Webster Lake offers swimming. Tradeoffs noted: some tent pads are gravel and staff enforce pad use, a few sites are unlevel or have tight RV turns, and there can be occasional playground or boating noise. Fishing and swimming at the lake may be restricted, so check rules before you go.
