Park Description

Overview

Twin Bears Wooded Campground is a family-friendly retreat nestled in the scenic landscapes of northern Michigan, just four miles east of I-75. The campground offers 160 spacious, wooded sites, including full hookups, electric and water, electric-only, and rustic options. Additionally, there are four camping cabins available, two of which include plumbing. The campground operates from May 1st through October 31st.

🛶 Amenities & Activities

  • Swimming Pool: Enjoy the unique Michigan-shaped pool, a favorite among guests.

  • Mini Golf: Play 18 holes of mini golf; equipment is available at the General Store.

  • Playground: A large playground area for children to enjoy.

  • Gem Mining: Try your hand at mining for gemstones and fossils.

  • General Store: Offers essentials, souvenirs, and a selection of beer and wine.

  • Concession Stand: Serves hand-scooped ice cream, hot dogs, fresh-squeezed lemonade, and more.

  • Bathhouses: Four updated bathhouse facilities with hot and cold showers.

  • Weekend Activities: Outdoor movies, hayrides, and themed events for kids.

  • Wi-Fi: Available throughout the campground.

  • RV Sites: Rates start at $50 per night.

  • Cabins: Rates vary; please contact the campground directly for pricing.

  • Tents: Allowed; however, no tents are permitted on full hookup sites.

  • Additional Fees: $5 per additional adult (18+), $2 per child (under 18).

  • Vehicles: Up to two vehicles allowed per site; additional vehicles may incur extra charges.

  • Quiet Hours: 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

  • Pets: Pets are welcome; must be kept on a leash and cleaned up after.
