Chittenden Brook Campground is situated in a beautiful northern hardwoods forest, approximately seven miles from Rochester, VT. It is a small and semi-remote campground, perfect for those who seek a more tranquil camping experience.

    The campground offers 17 overnight sites for tent and small RV camping (maximum 18′). Each site has a picnic table, fire ring with a grill, parking spur with space for two cars, and a gravel tent pad. There are two barrier-free vault toilets, but there is no potable water available. There is a recycling and trash station at the end of the campground loop. The campground also offers several first-come, first-served sites along with sites that can be reserved.

    The campground is located along Chittenden Brook, a pristine mountain stream that feeds into the White River. Wildlife located in this area includes white-tailed deer, moose, and black bear.

    With an abundance of well-maintained trails, mountain vistas, waterfalls, and streams, the Chittenden Brook area offers plentiful opportunities for hiking, mountain biking, swimming, river tubing, fishing, hunting, and more. The Chittenden Brook trail system starts at the campground and passes through a mature northern hardwood forest, along a pristine mountain stream, and past a beaver pond on its way to connecting with the Long Trail.

    Moosalamoo Campground is a small remote campground located at the base of Mt. Moosalamoo, near Voter Brook. A large mowed grass field in the middle of the campground is good for a variety of activities, especially for groups with children. There are 19 campsites (including one host site), six vault toilets and potable water is available on site via a hand-pump.

    The campground offers 18 overnight sites for tent and limited RV camping. Each site is equipped with a picnic table and fire ring (with grill). There are six accessible vault toilets located within the campground. The campground also offers first-come, first-served sites.

    The Moosalamoo National Recreation Area consists of 16,000 acres abounding with recreation opportunities. With over 70 miles of well-maintained trails, mountain vistas, waterfalls, lakes and streams, it offers opportunities for hiking, mountain biking, kayaking, swimming, fishing, hunting and more. Two hiking trails (Mt. Moosalamoo and Voter Brook) are connected to the campground loop and less than a mile down the road is Voter Brook Overlook, featuring a picnic area and an accessible path leading to a western vista.

    Shelburne Camping Area in Shelburne Vermont provides full, partial, and primitive (no water, electric, or sewer) hookup RV and tent camping for short and long term stays.

    Barrewood Campground in Westfield Vermont provides full hookup RV and tent camping in a country setting.

    Half Moon Pond State Park in Hubbardton Vermont is set in the dense woods of a small, sheltered basin, the park surrounds Half Moon Pond. The campground offers camping for all tastes with its waterfront campsites and lean-tos and five furnished cabins. 52 tent sites, 5 cabins and 11 lean-to sites provide great camping opportunities in a quiet, peaceful environment.

    North Beach Campground in Burlington Vermont offers full, partial, and primitive (no water, electric, or sewer) hookup RV and tent camping in a city managed park adjacent to Lake Champlain.

    Branbury State Park Campground in Brandon Vermont is located on the eastern shore of Lake Dunmore at the base of Mt. Moosalamoo. The Green Mountain National Forest is its neighbor to the east. 20 tent sites and 7 lean-to sites are on one side of the highway in a heavily wooded area, and 17 tent sites are located along the perimeter of a grassy open area near the beach.

    Mountain View Campground in Morrisville Vermont provides full hookup RV and tent camping in a family friendly and well kept park.

    Lazy Lions Campground in South Barre Vermont provides full hookup RV and tent camping in a rural setting with easy access to area attractions.

    Mill Brook Campground in Westfield Vermont offers full and partial hookup RV camping for short and seasonal stays.

    Jamaica State Park in Jamaica Vermont is located on a bend of the West River about one-half mile from the center of the town of Jamaica. 41 tent/trailer sites and 18 lean-to sites that are spread out through the campground. Access limited due to 8 ton weight limit bridge.

    Homestead Campground in Georgia Vermont provides partial hookup RV sites catering to seasonal guests. A few short term sites available.

    Maple Hill Campsites in Bristol Vermont provides primitive and electric hookup small RV and tent camping in a rural setting.

    Lakeview Camping Area in Eden Mills Vermont provides partial hookup RV camping with open and wooded sites adjacent to Lake Eden.
