Roads and pads are packed sand with nice natural vegetation and an over-all well kept appearance. Park roads are one way with a designated entrance and exit point. The highway out front has a reduced 45 mph speed limit minimizing road noise.

    Ken’s Lake Campground 10 miles south of Moab Utah is a BLM campground offers 14 plus primitive RV and tent camping sites adjacent to a lake. Non-motorized boating and shore fishing available. Access to off-road trails including hiking and the famous Steelbender 4×4 route. Sites can accommodate most any size RV or trailer.

    King’s Bottom Campground near Moab Utah is a BLM campground offering 11 primitive tent and small RV camping sites adjacent to the Colorado River.

    Hamburger Rock Campground north of Monticello Utah and southeast of Canyonlands National Park is a BLM campground offering primitive RV and tent camping. Easy access to Indian Creek area. A small fee is charged at this campground with 10 sites available. There are pit toilets. No water or other amenities so come prepared to this location with all your amenities.

    Most of the sites are situated within and around the picturesque rock formation the area gets its name from. On clear days (ie most of the time) there are majestic views of the surrounding countryside. In addition there is one site not located against the rocks which is suitable for a small RV or trailer.

    Thousand Lakes RV Park in Torrey Utah offers RV and tent camping 2 miles west of Torrey. Large full hookup RV sites and on site Jeep rentals the park is well appointed. Tent sites are situated on the interior lawn under shade trees; they are a bit close together if it is crowded. RV sites are easy to access for any size RV. The park has a playground pool, bathhouse and group meeting area. ATV trails depart from the park. Gravel roads and sites; some have rock fire pits.

    Rental cabins are also available.

    Sunset Campground in Bryce Canyon National Park offers 100 RV and tent camping sites 1.5 miles from the visitor center. Closed in winter. Campsites are situated in three loops with A for larger RVs and B/ C for small RVs and tent camping. Located in a pine forest the entire campground and site pads are dirt roads (very dusty when dry). A handful of pull thru sites are available; this campground is not readily suited to larger RVs. Excellent tent camping. Access to multiple hiking trails and close to the Sunset Viewpoint. A group camping area is also available.

    The paved multi-use path is located just across the main highway from this campground providing cyclists and hikers with access deeper in to the park or back towards the visitor center and town.

    Water spigots and restrooms (with running water) are available.

    Cedar Breaks RV Park (Formerly Country Aire RV Park) in Cedar City Utah offers RV camping for short and long term stays. Pull thru sites provide for easy access for any size RV; caution is required on the many speed bumps.

    Recently updated the park shows signs of improvement. A mix of long term and short term guests the short term sites are closer to the front and accessible for most any sized RV. Paved roads with packed gravel pads. The sites have picnic tables a grass area and patios. A suitable option to stay short term or if you don;t need the amenities of the nearby KOA.

    Bauer’s Canyon Ranch RV Park in Glendale Utah offers full hookup RV camping on US 89 between Zion and Bryce Canyon National Parks. Easy access for any size RV the park is centrally located between two of the more popular Utah National Parks. A small park the location is well kept and located within the quiet rural small town of Glendale. Tucked off the highway a bit (plus the reduced speed limit in town) makes for a peaceful location.

    Hitch-N-Post RV Park in Kanab Utah offers RV and tent camping for short and long term stays. Located in town the park is easily accessed and within walking distance of restaurants and stores. Gravel roads and drives some of the sides are underneath large shade trees. Convenient to town the park is abit tight to navigate but is quiet and clean.

    Traveland RV Park in Logan Utah offers full hookup RV camping. 45 pull thru sites with the majority 30 amp hookups (a few 50 amp sites also). Short and long term rates the front sites are used for short term stays while the back sites are filled with long term tenants.
