    Doe Valley Campground offers full hookup pull though sites. We’re located on a 110 acre centuries old farm with plenty of hiking. There is direct access to Doe Mountain Recreation Area and minutes from beautiful Watauga Lake and the Appalachian Trail.

    Located in Mt. Juliet, Rural Hill Farm offers a beautiful and convenient location for your next getaway or family gathering, wedding or event! Close to Nashville and surrounding areas, six miles from Providence Mall, the property consists of over 180 acres of beautiful scenery with free roaming wildlife, a two acre stocked pond and nature trails. Choose from one of five cabins or 17 full hookup RV sites nestled on the property overlooking the pond, or bring your whole family and getaway together by renting the entire property!

    Gateway to the Smokies RV Park and Campground opened for business in 2019, and although we are new, rest assured our family has been in the hospitality/campground industry for over 30 years. If you like the outdoor life, but prefer the comfort of modern conveniences, we have 9 cabins of different sizes depending on your likes and needs.     We are located less than a mile off the parkway, on the quiet side in the heart of Pigeon Forge. One right hand turn onto the spur takes you into Gatlinburg where fun things await like Anakeesta, Ober Gatlinburg, and Ripleys Aquarium can be found. If you go a little further you can head into The Great Smoky Mountain National Park where adventures like hiking, biking, fishing and touring can be found. Turn left and you are headed toward exciting activities like Dollywood, Splash Country, Titanic Museum, The Island, Comedy Barn, and dinner shows like Dolly Parton’s Stampede, Pirates and Hatfield & McCoy’s. There are so many theaters, shopping stores, action rides, homemade fudge factories, moonshine distilleries and restaurants to satisfy every taste. We are located on the Pigeon Forge trolley route which allows you to enjoy a ride to one of the many area attractions.

    Sitting on it’s separate island, located on Chickamauga Lake in Harrison TN, lies Skull Island Campground awaiting your next camping adventure! The campground offers 68 sites with 50/30/20 amp service, some with waterfront views, and also has a beach area and Camp Store. Our camp store is stocked with non-perishable goods, gear for swimming, pet and fishing supplies, picnic items, and gift souvenir items. We also sell live bait, sodas, ice cream, ice, and firewood!

    The campground offers 68 sites with 50, 30, and 110 amp service, with waterfront and non-waterfront campsites. Campers, please check-in at the office/store before going to the assigned site. All sites are graveled. The campground has 2 different bathroom buildings; one of which is a conventional campground restroom with showers; the other has 4 individual family-style bathrooms and includes showers.

     

    Please note: Only 2 pets allowed per campsite. Dogs must be on leashes at all times or crated. Exceptions to additional dogs may be allowed with management approval.

    Rock Creek Recreation Area is named for the small creek that runs alongside this recreation site. The facilities, creek-fed concrete pond and bathhouse were originally built by the Civilian Conservation Corps in the early 1930s. It is located just outside the town of Erwin, TN at an elevation of 2,300 feet – a welcome respite from the summer heat.

    Campsites are nestled in a cove hardwood forest. Adjacent to the campground is Unaka Mountain Wilderness area, a rugged and undeveloped area.

    Hike on one (or all) of the trails adjacent to Rock Creek Recreation Area. Visitors can enjoy cooling off in the creek-fed concrete pond. Younger children can enjoy the playground located in the day use area of the recreation area. Campground programs are offered every Friday night in July at the amphitheater.

    Located near Parksville Lake, Parksville Lake RV Campground offers well-shaded and nicely spaced campsites accommodating larger RVs. Several sites offer the opportunity for two RVs to camp close together and several are located along a small stream.

    Picnic tables, grills, and lantern posts are located at each site. A bath house providing flush toilets and warm showers is centrally located in the middle of the loop. Water hydrants are located throughout the campground. An RV dump station is located near the entrance/exit.

    Parksville Lake RV Campground is central location for day trips to the many inviting outdoor recreation opportunities in the area. Visitors to nearby Parksville Lake will enjoy beaches for swimming and boat ramps for water access. The area boasts many miles of mountain bike and hiking trails. Whitewater rafting enthusiasts will want to check out the Ocoee Whitewater Center.

    Rock Creek Campground is located near the Emory River in the Obed Wild and Scenic River.

    Rock Creek Campground has 11 campsites. Each site has a picnic table, food storage locker, fire ring with grill, lantern hook and paved parking. A vault toilet is also centrally located in the campground.

    Whitewater paddling is available seasonally in the Obed WSR. Rock climbing is another challenging activity, as is boulder climbing. The Obed WSR sports several unique trails for hikers, most notably the Point Trail and a portion of the Cumberland Trail. Those who like to fish will enjoy the Obed WSR, as a variety of bass, bluegill, catfish and other fish populate the river. Birdwatching is also a fun activity, particularly during the migratory seasons.

     

    Paint Creek Recreation Area (elevation 1760 feet) is located in Greene County in a mountain cove along Paint Creek. A majority of the widely-spaced campsites have streamside views and are screened by a variety of native plants, including rhododendron, hemlock and laurel.

    Recreation opportunities abound along the Paint Creek corridor. Paint Creek is a popular stream for swimming, wading and fly fishing. TWRA stocks Paint Creek with Rainbow trout throughout the summer. Warm water fishing is a short drive away at Paint Creek Pond. Two hiking trails begin within walking distance of the campground: Paint Mountain Trail (#7) and Paint Creek Trail (#10). Bike riding along the Paint Creek corridor to Hot Springs, NC is becoming a favorite pastime. Several scenic auto loops can begin at Paint Creek campground.

    The relaxing yet activity-rich Lock A Campground has something to offer everyone from horseshoe pits to volleyball courts and hiking opportunities, plus a plethora of lake activities as well.

    Both RV and tent sites have 50 amp electric hookups. Additional amenities include hot showers, a dump station, boat launch, playground, picnic shelter and swimming area. A beach and additional playgrounds are available in the adjacent Cheatham Dam Right Bank Recreation Area.

    The temperate climate here allows for a lengthy recreation season including boating, swimming, canoeing and fishing. For hikers, the Cumberland River Bicentennial Trail is a rails-to-trails project, which runs 6.5 miles long and crosses Sycamore Creek on a historic abandoned railroad trestle.

    Indian Boundary Recreation Area is the crown jewel of the South Zone of the Cherokee National Forest on the Tellico Ranger District. This family-oriented campground offers a swim beach and picnic area with grills and an accessible picnic pavilion, as well as a fantastic, 3.2-mile hiking and biking trail around the lake. Spectacular mountain views, glimpses of wildlife, and a peaceful setting await visitors who come to Indian Boundary.

    The 87-site campground has electric hookups, water faucets throughout the campground, grills, picnic tables and lantern posts. Modern restrooms add to the comfort of visitors in this natural setting.
    An on-site campground store sells bread, ice, milk, ice cream and other camping supplies.

    Opportunities abound for fishing, swimming, boating, wildlife viewing and scenic driving. Other popular activities include hiking and biking the trail around Indian Boundary Lake. The recreation area contains a swim beach, boat ramp, fishing pier, picnic area and volleyball court.

     

    Cardens Bluff Campground has closed for the 2021 season. At nearly 2,000 feet elevation, Cardens Bluff Campground is located on a peninsula overlooking the 6,430-acre Watauga Lake in Carter County, TN. There are 43 sites, primarily for tent camping. There is a bathhouse with showers and flush toilets. No electrical hookups are provided. Day use areas are located nearby for those wanting to take advantage of swimming, boating, and fishing opportunities. Campground Hosts are on site to answer questions and assist with your visit.

    There are 43 campsites within Cardens Bluff Campground. Each section of the campground has flush toilets. In addition, there is an accessible shower house with eight showers for use by registed campers only.

    Boating is popular for visitors to Cardens Bluff. Numerous campsites provide easy water access for kayaks, canoes and motorized boats. Swimming and fishing are also very popular activities at Cardens Bluff. Watauga Lake provides notably clean water for recreating.

    Cages Bend Campground is located on the shores of Old Hickory Lake, offering campers the opportunity to enjoy activities with a beautiful scenic backdrop. Water recreation is the major attraction for lake-goers, but with white-tailed deer, migratory song birds and waterfowl abundant in the area, birding and wildlife photography is popular as well.

    The campground offers a playground for families, a boat ramp for easy lake access, showers for comfort and a group picnic shelter for convenient entertaining. All sites have electric and water hookups and four sites meet accessibility standards. Laundry facilities are also onsite. Two docks are also available for fishing only, one is located inside the campground and the other is beside the boat ramp.

    Swimming and sailing are popular ways to enjoy the lake, and anglers can find exceptional bank and boat fishing for catfish, crappie and bass.
