    Dell Rapids Campground in Dells South Dakota provides partial and full hookup RV camping in a city owned campground. The Dells campground offers several amenities for campers. The Sioux River Red Rock Trail, the Big Sioux River, amateur and high school baseball games next door at Rickeman Field, free WiFi, and a new bath house that was built earlier this year greet campers throughout the summer.

    Located at the headwaters of the Dells channel that inspired the name Dell Rapids – south side of the Big Sioux River and west of South Garfield Avenue. The campground provides a rustic relaxing camping experience in our city limits but within a beautifully serene park along the Big Sioux River. The campground features 29 campsites with individual electric panels, access to water, and sewer (sites 16 – 29 only), a picnic table and a fire ring. The campground also features a  shower house, playground, access to a newly installed recreational trail with a pedestrian bridge that crosses the Big Sioux River. The campground is also in close proximity to other scenic city parks and is within walking distance of historic downtown Dell Rapids. Campsites are currently $25 per night for electric and water only (sites 1-15) and $35 per night for electric, water, and sewer (sites 16-29).
