The Frazee family has been running this facility for over 40 Years, passing the honor down through the generations. At Lava Lake Resort we do things the old fashioned way, taking reservations by landline phone. Internet and cell phone service don’t always reach this far into the woods, so please keep that in mind.

    Quinn River Campground is located on the western shore of the Crane Prairie Reservoir, just off the Cascade Lakes Highway within Central Oregon’s Cascade Range.

    Located just off the Cascade Lakes Highway, Quinn River Campground is spread out along the western shores of Crane Prairie Reservoir.

    This facility has a boat ramp offering access to Crane Prairie Reservoir. Boat launch parking is for day use only and requires a recreation fee separate from camping fees.

    Crane Prairie Reservoir is known for fishing and boating opportunities. The Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife manages populations of rainbow trout, mountain whitefish, brook trout and largemouth bass. Fish cleaning stations and a boat ramp are within the campground.

    North Fork Campground is a remote and picturesque small campground is in the midst of old growth forest located off Forest Road 37 from Highway 140.

    This small campground contains a variety of campsites to accommodate all types of visitors and campers, including group, family, and single campsites. Drinking water is available. The campground has two vault toilets. Firewood is available for purchase from the off-site Host.

    The campground offers easy access to Fish Lake, which is a premier fishing lake supplied by over 45 underground volcanic streams. A volume of hiking trails include the High Lakes and Fish Lake Trail systems, as well as the Pacific Coast Trail and Mount McCloughlin Trail. Many biking trails exist, including back-country and county highways.

    Farewell Bend Campground is a picturesque campground in the midst of old growth forest and adjacent to the Rogue River and Crater Lake National Park. The campground is well-known for its amazing children’s play area.

    This large campground contains a variety of campsites to accommodate groups, families and individuals. Drinking water and flush toilets are provided, as well as picnic tables and grills. Firewood is available for purchase at the Campground Host Site.

    Farewell Bend offers outstanding fishing and swimming in the Rogue River and nearby Union Creek, as well as Lost Creek to the south. The Rogue River and Rogue Gorge trail systems connect to both Crater Lake National Park to the north and Lost Creek Lake to the south, and run through Natural Bridge and Rogue Gorge. Crater Lake National Park is just minutes away. Natural Bridge and Rogue Gorge are within easy walking distance and are must see attractions. All hiking venues are in the midst of old growth forest, with views of Mount McLoughlin.

     

    Black Canyon Campground in Oregon rests next to the Middle Fork of the Willamette River. This scenic campground is heavily shaded by towering hemlock, cedar and Douglas fir. Fishing and kayaking are a popular pastimes.

    The campground offers some riverside sites with pleasant shade, fresh air with cool breezes. There are 75 sites, 19 are reservable. Each site contains a picnic table and campfire ring with grill. Accessible vault toilets and drinking water are provided.

    A 1-mile interpretive nature trail winds through the campground, and Lookout Point Lake is less than a mile away, with opportunities for boating and fishing. A boat ramp is located on the lake. The Willamette National Forest has about 1,700 miles of trails. While many are located in wilderness areas, a number of trails are situated at lower elevations and provide easy, year-round hiking. Black Canyon is within the Winberry Trail Area, with excellent terrain like the Tire Mountain Trail for mountain biking and horseback riding, and the Clover Patch Trail for hiking.

     

    Sunset Campground is located on the banks of scenic Lake of the Woods, in close proximity to several wilderness areas, offering visitors opportunities to experience both the serene and wild aspects of south central Oregon. Set beneath a towering conifer forest, the sites in this campground are widely spaced and offer lakefront views, showcasing the stunning Mt. McLoughlin.

    Sunset Campground has standard sites to accommodate RVs, trailers and tents. The campground is equipped with picnic tables, campfire rings, drinking water and flush toilets. A nearby resort offers visitors basic amenities, lodging, and dining.

    Sunset Campground is a wonderful location for hiking, fishing, hunting, horseback riding and biking in summer and early fall. In the winter months visitors can take advantage of skiing, snowshoeing and snowmobiling. Anglers enjoy fishing by boat or along the shore for rainbow and brown trout, Kokanee salmon, bass and perch. Swimming, kayaking and canoeing are wonderful ways to spend a warm afternoon along the waterfront as well. A boat ramp and swimming beach are provided.

     

    Sheep Bridge Campground is located at the point where the Deschutes River flows into Wickiup Reservoir.

    Sheep Bridge Campground can accommodate both tent and RV camping, however, hookups are not available. The campground offers picnic tables, campfire rings, drinking water and vault toilets.
    A boat ramp for river access is also available at the campground.

     

    South Twin Lake Campground sits on the shores of South Twin Lake, a small lake adjacent to the much larger Wickiup Reservoir.

    This facility has sites that can accommodate, tent, trailer or RV campers. Each site comes with a picnic table and is equipped with a fire ring. This campground offers potable water and flush toilets, as well as, a nearby boat launch area leading to the water. Boat launch parking is for day use only and requires a recreation fee separate from camping fees.

    South Twin Lake provides visitors with the opportunity for fishing, swimming and paddling. Motorized boating is not permitted.

    Three Creeks Lake Campground is the last of four facilities located on Three Creeks Lake and provides campers with beautiful views of the water and surrounding nature.

    Three Creeks Lake Campground can accommodate RV, trailer or tent-campers however water and electric hookups are not available. This is a no water facility so campers will need to bring their own supply. All sites are equipped with a picnic table and campfire ring with grill and the campground has vault toilets available.

     

    This campground sits right on the water providing campers with wonderful views of adjacent Three Creeks Lake. Located in a glacial cirque below Tam McArthur Rim, the lake is 28-acre alpine gem with an elevation of 6,550 ft. surrounded by old growth forest. The outlet stream from the lake flows northward and is joined by two other streams to form Three Creek. The shoreline of Three Creek Lake varies from gentle slope to rocky cliff. Maximum depth is 28 feet down the center and near the cliff on the south end of the lake.

    The campground is a large bisected loop in a dense stand of Douglas fir, cedar and other conifers next to Whiskey Springs Pond. The dense canopy from the Douglas fir trees filters the sunlight providing a good environment for a variety of ground covers. Tall shrubs and young conifers provide privacy between campsites. This campground has a classic “forest feel” to it. Beavers are said to live in the pond.

    This small campground contains a variety of campsites to accommodate all types of visitors and campers, including group, family and single campsites. Drinking water is available. The campground has vault toilets. Firewood is available for purchase from the host.

    The North Umpqua Wild and Scenic River pauses at Toketee Lake providing a secure home for a wide variety of wildlife. Here beaver and otter make their homes. Great blue heron and kingfishers are joined in fall and winter by ducks, geese, and bald eagles.

    Toketee Lake Campground is a dry campground with vault toilets. The campground is close to the group site, should you need more space. Sites are, for the most part, level with room for both tent and RV campers. There are 32 sites available by reservation only. Reservations must be made two days in advance.

    Mud Lake Campground is located across from the Anthony Lake Ski Area and near Mud Lake in the Wallowa-Whitman National Forest. Some campsites are tucked beneath dense pine and fir forest, while others sit in an open meadow.

    Mud Lake Campground is located in the Southern Elkhorn Mountain/Powder River Basin Area. Picturesque views of the ski area, Gunsight Peak and the Elkhorn Mountains are only a short hike across Forest Road 73, which is part of the Elkhorn Scenic Byway.

    Campers at Mud Lake have access to all the recreational activities at Anthony Lake, including boating, canoeing, kayaking and trout fishing. There is an accessible boat ramp available. Trails around Anthony Lake include the 22.6-mile Elkhorn Crest and the 1-mile Black Lake Trails for hiking and horseback riding, as well as the 1-mile Shoreline Trail for hiking only. Mud Lake is also near over 8 miles of singe track mountain bike trails and a downhill flow trail at the ski area.

    Lake Harriet Campground sits on the eastern shores of crystal clear Lake Harriet. It is located between the Oak Grove Fork of the Clackamas River, which flows into the lake, and the nearby forest highway. It is a great location for camping, fishing and boating.

    The campground offers eight single-family campsites for tent and RV camping. Each site is equipped with tables and campfire rings with grills. Accessible vault toilets and drinking water are provided. A host is available on-site and firewood is available for purchase at the campground.

    Situated along the upper reaches of the Wild and Scenic North Umpqua River, Boulder Flat Campground is an enchanting site, lush with greenery from end to end. Popular with whitewater enthusiasts, this campground offers a raft put-in that is the start of many memorable raft trips.

    This campground has nine campsites equipped with picnic tables and fire rings. There is one boat ramp and a changing room building with two fairly large stalls that were newly constructed in 2011. There are two accessible vault toilets located on each end of the campground. Day use parking with extra-long spurs to provide for boat trailers is provided as well as short-term parking for unloading/loading at the boat ramp area. All roads and parking spurs within the campground are paved. All but one of the campsites has river access. All campsites require reservations. Reservations must be made two days in advance.

    Nestled along the bank of the Wild and Scenic North Umpqua River, Eagle Rock Campground offers an excellent setting for the perfect camping excursion. Popular with both fly anglers and whitewater enthusiasts, this campground is situated in a stand of old growth Douglas fir and deciduous trees.

    This campground has 27 sites, with one loop of 16 sites available for reservation. The campground is equipped with picnic tables and fire rings at all the sites. Three double vault toilets are dispersed throughout the campground. Roads and spurs within the campground are paved. A majority of the campsites have river access.

    Eagle Creek campground is located above Interstate 84 among tall trees. It was the first developed campground in the Forest Service system. Campsites are well-spaced creating a feeling of privacy. It is, however, located on the bluff above Interstate 84 and railroad tracks so it can be noisy.

    There are 16 campsites available, each with a paved parking apron and most are fully accessible. There is a central restroom, and faucets for drinking water are scattered throughout the campground. A full-time host is on site.

    This campground is part of the Eagle Creek Recreation Area featuring the classic and popular Eagle Creek trail and access to several other hiking and road biking trails. There are outstanding day hike opportunities with views and wildflowers as well as access to the Mt. Hood National Forest and Mark O. Hatfield Wilderness with extended overnight trips. Boating, river activities, interpretive centers, fish hatcheries, bird watching and picnicking are in this area.

    The High Desert Hideaway in Lakeview Oregon provides 6 full hookup RV sites.

    The High Desert Hideaway, is a boutique style RV Park tucked away in Lakeview’s downtown district right off highway 395. It’s the perfect spot to “hideaway” if you are looking explore what the area has to offer or if you are just passing through . We love Lakeview Oregon- both the town and surrounding high desert has a lot to offer. Our little RV park will be the perfect stop for you.

    Located next to Elk Lake, Point Campground provides access to fishing, boating and swimming.

    Point Campground can accommodate RV, trailer or tent-campers, however, electric hookups are not available. All sites are equipped with a picnic table and campfire ring with grill and the campground has vault toilets available. This campground also features a boat ramp to provide access to Elk Lake.

    Elk Lake allows both motorized and non-motorized boating which provides the opportunity for swimming, fishing, windsurfing and water skiing.

    Slide Creek Campground is a unique camping destination just 50 miles from Eugene, Oregon. Located on the east bank of the Cougar Reservoir, it is known for handy access to boating and many water activities. It is also near Terwilliger Hot Springs, a pristine area with 5 soaking pools fed by the Rider Creek waterfall.

    Both campground and the day use area guests have access to drinking water, vault toilets, a boat ramp, ample parking and a swimming beach. A separate parking lot is available for boat trailers. The facility has 15 campsites that can accommodate tents, trailers or RVs and come equipped with campfire rings and picnic tables.

    Activities on the reservoir include water skiing, swimming, fishing and canoeing. Anglers might catch some quality rainbow trout. The campground is close to a large network of hiking trails in the Olallie Trail Area. Half of the trails are open to biking as well.

    Elk Lake Campground is located on the north end of Elk Lake along the Cascade Lakes National Scenic Byway.

    Elk Lake Campground can accommodate RV, trailer or tent-campers, however, electric hookups are not available. All sites are equipped with a picnic table and campfire ring with grill. The campground has drinking water and vault toilets available. This campground also features a boat ramp to provide access to Elk Lake.

    Elk Lake offers magnificent views of South Sister, Mt. Bachelor and numerous other mountainous features. Wetlands, diverse forests and rocky slopes near the campground provide habitat for shorebirds, porcupine, deer, bats and the occasional black bear.
