Tippicanoe offers a clean, quiet space with a sandy beach and a sandy bottom spring-fed pond. Most of our campers come for the season, however, we welcome new camping friends who come as short-term ” transient” campers as well. The water is clean and refreshing, perfect for swimming, kayaking, canoeing, or fishing in our state-stocked trout. Although we have fun and offer some activities like bands, a pig roast, and a lobster festival, we are not a “busy” place. Tippicanoe is a place to escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life providing an opportunity for families and friends to unwind. In addition, we are totally smoke/vape-free space. Sites are neatly kept with many fully landscaped. We are only 4 miles to Sunapee State Park and Beach for those or who have larger boats or like to jet ski. Grocery shopping and restaurants are available nearby. It’s an easy drive to Vermont Country Store and just a ninety-minute drive to Hampton Beach or the White Mountains.

    Campsites are organized into two loops. The facility is well shaded, and a grassy play area is available. Accessible restrooms and a hand pump for drinking water are provided. There are no showers or dump station on-site. Noise from the road may be noticeable.

    Sunshine Valley RV Park near Milan New Hampshire provide large primitive hookup RV camping sites adjacent to an ATV trail system. Sites range from 50 to 80 feet long and are all pull-through sites for your convenience. Walking, hiking, biking and ATV trails connected to the campground, you can park your RV and start your adventure right here!

    21 sites currently with fire pits and picnic tables. Water and a sump station are available. Packed gravel roads and parking pads the location can handle any sized RV. New in 2018 the park will be adding amenities over the next several years. Sites are surrounded by natural grass and the facility has a nice feel.

    Blackberry Crossing Campground near Albany New Hampshire offers 26 primitive tent and RV camping sites located along the Kancamagus Highway.     Built on the grounds of a former CCC camp from the 30’s there are still foundations and interpretive trails discussing this legacy.

    Covered Bridge Campground near Albany New Hampshire offers 49 primitive tent and RV camping sites located along the Kancamagus Highway.     There is a 7′ 9″ height restriction through the Covered Bridge so larger RVs can access the campground via Passaconaway Road from West Side Road in Conway. The Boulder Loop Trail, a three mile loop hike, and the Swift River are just short walks away.

    Jigger Johnson Campground near Albany New Hampshire offers 75 primitive tent and small RV camping sites located along the Kancamagus Highway.     Zealand Campground in White Mountain National Forest near Jefferson New Hampshire offers primitive (no hookup) tent and small RV camping in a scenic setting adjacent to the highway. First come first served only the campground does offer sites large enough to accept most size RVs BUT the loop road out is tight. The river runs behind this location. Dirt roads and grass surrounds this is a pretty place to camp.

    Hancock Campground in White Mountain National Forest near Lincoln New Hampshire offers primitive RV and tent camping year round on a first come first served basis. The nearby Lincoln Woods Visitor Center is the jumping off point for numerous hiking trails leading into the Pemigewasset Wilderness; the Kancamagus Highway is an extremely popular scenic byway with numerous hiking, picnic, and swimming spots; and the town of Lincoln offers many amenities.

    Big Rock Campground in White Mountain National Forest near Lincoln New Hampshire offers primitive (no hookups) RV and tent camping in a wooded and hill area. Named after the large boulders found in the area the campground is a short distance from a number of nearby attractions including Otter Rocks, the Lincoln Woods Visitor Center, or many popular hiking trails along the Kancamagus Highway. All sites first come first served.

    A variety of recreational opportunities exist nearby which include; swimming, fishing, hiking, picnicking, sight-seeing and pleasure driving.

    Located 6 miles south of Gorham, New Hampshire at the base of New England’s tallest peak, the historic Dolly Copp Campground is a large facility that accommodates a range of campers and provides access to some of the most popular hikes in the White Mountains. Lush forests, spectacular mountain views and convenience to outdoor recreation and scenic driving draw visitors from all over to Dolly Copp. The surrounding White Mountain National Forest encompasses nearly 800,000 acres in New Hampshire and western Maine, and is one of the most popular forests in the country.

    Dolly Copp is the largest campground within White Mountain National Forest. Sites are spacious and organized into several loops. Some sites have 30amp / 50 amp hookups. Coin operated showers, flush toilets, water spigots are located throughout the campground.

    The campground is a hub for hikes into the Presidential and Carter-Moriah Ranges. The Daniel Webster Scout Trail leads from the campground into the Great Gulf Wilderness on the northeast side of Mount Washington. Many more miles of trails can be accessed within a short drive. Within the facility, anglers can try their luck for brook trout in the creek and river. Families can learn more through educational programs presented on weekends in July and August.

    Barnes Field Group Campground in White Mountain National Forest near Gorham New Hampshire is just up the road from Dolly Copp Campground and offers reservation group camping only during the summer and first come first served camping in the winter. Hiking and biking available in the area. Sites are suitable for tent and medium sized RVs. No hookups.

    Jericho Gateway Family Campground in Berlin New Hampshire offers free primitive hookup RV and tent camping on land near Jericho State Park.
