Riverview Marina State Recreation Area Campground in Nebraska City Nebraska offers partial (electric) and primitive (no water, electric, or sewer) hookup RV and tent camping sites. With immediate access to the Missouri River the campground is set in a pretty setting with all sites on mowed grass and some under large shade trees. 20 and 30 amp pedestals are available as are sites dispersed on the grass. A small playground is available as are two bathrooms with running water. A couple water spigots are available in the camping area also. The primary draw for this park is the paved boat launch and large paved parking area to access the Missouri River. Entry and camping fees are paid via a self service station.

Accessed via a paved road the campsites can easily handle the largest RVs on the road with the only caveat being that getting to the campground is a bit tricky. From Central St (the road used by Oregon Trail travelers after the ferry boat landing) campers travel north on 6th St to 8th Ave turning East to 4th St and then North again to the campground. Drivers will cross a 15 ton weight limit bridge and navigate through narrow neighborhood roads. The trip is suitable and navigable for experienced drivers but does require some caution.

The Missouri River is home to invasive mussel species so travelers who launch boats, canoes and kayaks MUST ensure they full drain and dry their water-craft before launching the unit in another body of water. One small drop of water is all it takes to spread these species.

Camping rates are inexpensive at about $9 for primitive and $16 for electric hookups. An additional fee is charge per car with total rates of $22-$24 per night.
