Our walk in tent sites tucked amongst the trees on the ridgeline just above Lake Superior have been carefully honed to blend with the natural landscape and maintain the harmony of the forest, allowing for a grounded nature immersion experience.

    Conveniently located along I-94, our Love’s RV Hookup-Rockville MN 842 provides the RV traveler with a safe, clean and well-maintained place to stop for the night as you travel across the country. Our reservation and check in process makes booking a site quick and convenient. Guests can make reservations, pay and check in or out on their own devices or at the designated Kiosk located on site, providing an automated and contactless experience that quickly gets you back on the road to your destination.

    RV There Yet Campground, located 8 miles south of Akeley, Minnesota, is a new, family-owned campground opening May 1, 2023, situated on 80 acres of Norway Pine plantation. There are 18 primitive sites (dry camp, no hook-ups) although water-filling station, trash receptacle, and dump station are available. All sites are drive through. There are satellite rest rooms located throughout the property but because we do not offer shower facilities, state law requires that all RVs be equipped with on-board shower facilities. Tents or RVs not equipped with showers are not allowed at this time. Sites are approximately 10,000 square feet in size. Cost for a campsite is $20/night. There will also be a flea market on the property on the weekends from Memorial Day through Labor Day.

    Black Beach Campground in Silver Bay Minnesota is a city owned and developed campground. Opening in 2020 the park has full hookup sites in an open setting.

    49-site campground that will have 30-amp electricity throughout all sites and 34 of the sites will also have 50-amp electric service and full water and sewer hookups. Most of the sites will accommodate larger RV’s that have difficulty finding appropriate size sites in other campgrounds along the North Shore of Lake Superior.  There will also be a few pull-through sites.  Rentals will be either nightly or weekly.

    The main building will house the required lavatories and bathing units.  There will be a playground, a group picnic area, and walking trail in the campground leading to Black Beach.

    Black Beach is known for the natural sediment transport of past taconite tailings into sand that gives a diamond like sparkle with black hue.

    Eagle Stone Campground in Underwood Minnesota provides primitive tent camping in a community operated park. A self pay kiosk is located on the side of the City Hall building. tent sites are located on mowed grass with picnic tables and fire rings. A bathroom is available. The campground was designed and constructed via volunteers from the local Scout Troop 325

    2Annes Lakeside RV Park near Erskine Minnesota provides 8 partial hookup RV sites for short term stays and about 50 sites for seasonal stays adjacent to a recreational lake. Situated in the northern tier of the state this area is famous for its fishing and summer recreation. Restrooms with showers and a laundry are available for guests. Advanced reservations are recommended. Just off US 2.

    Chippewa Park Campground in Brnadon Township Minnesota provides 12 partial hookup (electric) and 2 primitive hookup RV and tent camping sites in a county owned park. Online reservations ARE REQUIRED and can be made via the county website. Each site has a fire ring, and picnic table, sites 7 -12 are on the lake. All sites in the campground have access to two swimming beaches, horse shoe pits, sand volleyball, hiking trails, fishing pier, and a community bathroom/shower facility. The campground is sandwiched between Devils Lake  and Little Chippewa Lake.

    Up a Creek Campground in Fifty Lakes Minnesota offers 80+ seasonal RV sites and 22 overnight sites with full hookup amenities. The campground has an in-ground swimming pool, kayaking, tubing, and canoeing on the adjacent river. Large sites with guests access to bathrooms and shower houses. Options for both pull thru or back in sites. Located near Crosslake and Emily.  A play area and large store with hard ice cream and gourmet coffee drinks is available. The campground is surrounded by wooded forest set in a rural setting.

    Detroit Lakes American Legion Campground in Detroit Lakes Minnesota provides full hookup RV camping for seasonal and short term stays.  Located directly across the street from the famous mile long sandy beach. We have a variety of sites available that will accommodate tents all the way up to 45 foot RV’s. We have 115 seasonal spaces and 33 transfer sites. All of out sites come with water, electricity, cable TV, Wi-Fi, picnic tables and fire rings. 10 of our transient sites come with sewer as well clean rest rooms and shower facilities are available in two locations. There is a convenience store on site stocked with pop, groceries, ice cream treats, ice and firewood. We have a laundry room, picnic shelter, playground and gazebo in the park where the parents can sit and watch the kids play. The Legion lounge is right next door and offers breakfast and lunches on a daily basis as well as steak fry’s and specials on most Fridays. The lounge is open daily for beer, wine and drinks. We are blocks away from many bars, restaurants and other activities that Detroit Lakes has to offer. We hope you find the opportunity to drop in and check out our facilities.

    Fall Lake Campground near Ely Minnesota is a US Forest Service campground providing primitive tent and RV camping in a wooded setting. The campground is managed by concessionaire. Multiple loops set in a forested setting the campground has paved roads with dirt gravel camping pads. Set on Fall Lake campers enjoy boating and canoeing. Fresh water is available as are showers and restrooms. A boat launch is adjacent.

    Maximum of 9 people per site. There is space for 1 vehicle and 1 towed vehicle (such as a boat trailer). Additional vehicles at the site require additional half fee and must park on the spur. No vehicles may park on the grass or where they impede traffic. ATVs not allowed.

    Barsness Park Campground in Glenwood Minnesota offers full, partial and primitive hookup RV and tent camping sites in a city run park. Located near the northeastern shore of Lake Minnewaska, offers one of the most scenic spots in Pope County.

    The 300 acre park located on the southern edge of the City of Glenwood, has a campground with full hookups, electrical hookups, tent sites and shower facilities. Many sites offer a view of Lake Minnewaska.

    There are four miles of hiking trails within the park and 150 acres is a wildlife preserve.

    The park offers horseshoe pits, sand volleyball courts, softball diamonds, playground equipment, a skate park and a Frisbee golf course.

    Two buildings are available by reservation and can accommodate large gatherings. These buildings are completely enclosed and include refrigeration and cooking facilities.

    The City’s swimming beach is a short walk from the park and a concrete boat landing is adjacent to the beach.

    There are two buildings within Barsness Park available for rent. These buildings provide an excellent spot for gatherings of all kinds: graduations, family reunions, grooms dinners, etc.

    Both buildings are equipped with full kitchen facilities, restrooms and have picnic tables located inside.

    Full Hookup sites are $47 per night
    Water and Electrical sites are $42 per night
    Tent sites are $27 per night

    The Chalet rents for $125 per day and the Glenhaven Shelter rents for $100 per day. We ask for a $100 damage deposit at the time of rental, which is returned once the building is inspected by a member of the Parks department.

    La Salle Lake State Recreation Area Campground near Solway Minnesota offers full hookup RV and tent camping near the shores of a recreational lake. The camping sites are located along a dirt spur road (one way in and out). All the sites are backins off the dirt road with the site perpendicular to the roadway (versus angled for easier access). Bathrooms with showers are available as are laundry machines. The newest park in the system the facilities are in great shape. Reservations are REQUIRED to camp here and can be made in advance for a fee or on the same day for free (another example of public agencies considering themselves over campers).

    La Salle Lake is the deepest inland lake in Minnesota, and one of its most pristine. Guests have access to a swim beach, boat launch and fishing. Canoes and kayaks can be launched in to the waters. Trails meander through the property for hiking.

    McCullough Park and Campground near Montgomery Minnesota is a county managed park offering 20 partial hookup (water/ electric) and 10 primitive (no hookup) RV and tent camping sites near a recreational lake. The park has family friendly amenities including horseshoes, fishing and walking trails.

    The park is located on the north side of Shield Lake which feeds in to the Cannon River (eventually on in to the Mississippi River near Red Wing). The park contains two distinct areas: Upper McCullough encompasses 70 acres of scenic bluffs, beautiful overlooks, and natural trails; and Lower McCullough which includes the campground and over 750 feet of shoreline.

    Campsites are located on a loop road with all backins. Gravel roads and sites there are no shade trees. The lake is adjacent. Showers and a dump station are available.

    Lake Vermilion Soudan Underground Mine State Park Campground in Soudan Minnesota (Tower) offers 33 partial (electric) and primitive hookup RV and tent camping sites in a new state park campground focused on good spacing and privacy between sites. The state park allows visitors to explore and learn about underground mining operations. In addition to the regular campsites there are 3 group camping areas including 2 for RV or tents and 1 for a more primitive/ rustic camping experience. Potable water is available along with modern restrooms.

    Boaters also have access to the water via a new boat launch and trailer parking facility.

    Campground opened in 2017.

    Gull Lake Recreation Area Campground near Brainerd Minnesota is a US Corp of Engineers campground providing partial (electric) and primitive tent and RV camping adjacent to a recreational lake. Located the inlet to Gull Lake from Gull River the site is home to several Native American burial mounds dating back as early as 800 B.C. Stocked walleye, northern pike, bass and a variety of panfish. Boaters can access crystal clear waters throughout the chain of lakes and enjoy the peaceful sunsets overlooking the woods.

    Krestwood RV and Mobile Home Park in Bloomington Minnesota offers 11 full hookup RV sites at the front of a mobile home community. Located in an urban setting the park offers daily and long term rates.

    Clear Lake Park Campground in Le Center Minnesota offers 4 primitive tent and RV sites in a county run park. Located past a private RV park the sites have access to the lake and a boat launch. First come first served.

    Lake Washington Park Campground near Kasota Minnesota offers 27 electric and 4 primitive tent and RV camping sites adjacent to a recreational lake. The county run park allows for advance reservations of sites and maintains a maximum length of stay at 7 days.

    Maple Springs Campground & Country Store in Preston Minnesota offers full and partial hookup RV and tent camping in a historic and scenic setting. 69 large, grassy and clean campsites electric and water hookups, tent sites fire rings & picnic tables at each site.

    Leech Lake Recreation Area Campground in Federal Dam Minnesota is a COE (Army Corp of Engineers) managed park offering primitive and partial hookup RV and tent camping. Best known for its fishing and boat access to Portage Bay on Leech Lake, a famous perch, walleye and musky fishery.
