Buttersville Park and Campground in Ludington Michigan offers primitive and electric hookup RV and tent camping in a county run park near the shores of Lake Michigan. The location is popular with locals and does allow seasonal guests to keep their units on site. The seasonal sites “own” the joint with many of the items seasonal guests acquire out for everyone to see include lines between trees, light strands, yard furniture and the like. Tent campers and small RVs can camp in other available electric or primitive sites; we do not advise larger RVs trying to squeeze in and out of the sites for short term stays. It is not worth the headache.

Restrooms with showers are available as is a large covered pavilion and small laundry room.
The park has all paved roads with concrete pads. The RV sites have excellent spacing and privacy from natural trees that were undisturbed during development. The parking pads are plenty long for even the largest RVs and each RV site has room for a second car.
