Jetstream RV Resort at NASA in Houston Texas provides full hookup RV sites for long term and short term guests. Opened in 2019 the park features a nice pool and common areas. Concrete roads and parking pads. Rates are heavily skewed towards long term guests with the daily rate at near $65 and the monthly rate only 10 times that (ie stay for 10 days and you have paid for a month)

    Jetstream RV Resort caters to on-location workers, as well as to vacationers seeking a luxury park near Houston. The resort offers long-term stay options and is locate close to not only Ellington Airport and NASA, but also oil and gas exploration facilities, medical research and health care facilities, high-tech industries, and the many corporate Fortune 500 company headquarters in the area.

    For those residing at the resort for work, it is an all-age facility so family members can reside with or visit traveling workers. In addition, it is a pet-friendly park and some of the spaces include private yards. Some spaces offer covered parking and there are reserved parking and oversized parking spaces available.

    Among the featured amenities is an expansive mod resort-style pool deck offering plenty of room for soaking up the sun, along with tanning areas in the pool. In the surrounding areas there are barbecue grills, a relaxing beer garden with picnic tables, fire pit for evenings under the stars, and a variety of lawn games.

    With Jetstream’s clubhouse situated at rear of the property with a 40-foot-wide entry drive lined with palm trees and string lights, there is a unique serenity with the location at the rear of the property. The 4,300-square-foot clubhouse features an eight-foot, 360-degree wrap-around porch with plenty of comfortable chairs for relaxing and enjoying the ambiance. Amenities at the clubhouse include a fitness center, arcade room, business center, lounge, kitchen area, and a laundry room.

    Chena Lake Recreation Area near Faribanks and North Pole Alaska is a county managed park offering camping in 3 campgrounds: Lake Park, River Park, and the boating accessible only Island Area. The boating accessible area has 6 primitive first come first served sites. Between the other two campgrounds there are 80 total sites with no hookups. Potable water and restrooms are available during warmer months. Pull thrus are available.

    The Lake Park hosts three volleyball courts, one horseshoe pit, a playground, multiple day use picnic sites with tables and fire rings, two covered pavilions, two changing room/warm up buildings, two designated swimming areas with sandy beaches, a boat rental facility, two fishing docks (one handicap accessible), a lake boat launch, potable water stations, restrooms, and during winter ice fishing and miles of trials.

    The River Park is stretched along 4 miles of the south bank of the Chena River and hosts one volleyball court, one horseshoe pit, one covered pavilion, one changing room/warm up building, a 4.5 kilometer self guided nature trail, river boat launch, potable water stations, restrooms, and multiple day use picnic sites with tables and fire rings.
