Arizona Leads the Way in Offering Campground Virtual Tours Statewide

New 360-degree virtual tours will show campers exactly where they’ll stay before they book

LARAMIE, WY (June, 2022) – CampgroundViews.com has been contracted by the Arizona Office of Tourism to develop virtual tours of 250 campgrounds across the state to make their parks as accessible as possible to RV and tent campers.

CampgroundViews.com’s proprietary 360-degree virtual tours and searchable database will pay off for the state as prospective campers get 360-degree views of each individual site at each park and connect directly for booking.

“We were happy to be able to support the efforts of CampgroundViews.com and other tourism businesses through the Visit Arizona Initiative Outdoor Recreation Revitalization Program,” said Debbie Johnson, director of the Arizona Office of Tourism. “Visitors are looking for camping and outdoor recreation opportunities more than ever this summer, and Arizona is a perfect destination for a getaway.”

This project was funded as part of the Outdoor Recreation Revitalization Program to aid industries impacted by the COVID pandemic.

With a surge in camping, the limited resources of campground operators have been severely tested.  By empowering campers to do their own research, CampgroundViews.com’s clients find that bookings happen with far less hassle and result in better and longer visits.
