jenny-lake-grand-teton-national-park-tent-siteYELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARK, WY August 12, 2014 – Campgroundviews.com members bring Yellowstone National Park and Grand Teton National Park area campgrounds and RV parks to life with the release of 121 videos of the camping locations. The social travel site has created first person videos allowing anyone with an internet connection to see what is available before making plans. The videos are free for viewing on the company’s website at https://www.campgroundviews.com and depict both public and private parks in the area. Campgrounds and RV parks in Yellowstone National Park, Grand Teton National Park, Cody, Jackson, West Yellowstone, Gardiner, Red Lodge, Dubois, and US Forest Service Lands are all included in this video release.

Campgroudviews.com is popular with technologically savvy campers who readily travel with easy access to the World Wide Web. With built in video cameras in modern cell phones the RV and tent travelers are turning to video to share what a park looks like rather than worrying about writing detailed reviews or relying upon outdated printed guidebooks. According to founder Mark Koep, “As Google Street View and Google Earth have already proven the power of seeing a location first hand frees people to better plan their travels to locations that interest and excite them”. All the videos are edited to remove personally identifiable information including faces and license plates.

A few of the more popular locations included in the release are all the Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks front-country campgrounds, West Yellowstone RV parks, and Buffalo Bill State Park campgrounds near Cody. Campers are encouraged to take a moment and capture their current campground or RV Park on video to share with thousands of other travelers. The company accepts most video formats and will edit the footage for brevity, quality, substance, and privacy. “We take it a step further by sharing videos provided by real campers at these various campgrounds and RV parks” added Mr. Koep.

This release of videos follows the recent release of additional videos of Rocky Mountain National Park and Dinosaur National Park campgrounds.
