My Comments

Lakeside RV Park - My Rating is 5 out of 5 -- I stayed here in June of 2015 for about a week. Very nice park. Bathroom/Showers/laundry all very nice. Small store had nice selection of those important RV things and snacks, cold drinks. Outdoor pool was very nice and clean. Game room was air conditioned. Staff was nice and welcoming. Sites were nice, level and concrete. Some picnic tables were available. I don't recall if all sites had picnic tables, but most did. Restaurant/Bar across street had good food. Locals were friendly as is most of Louisiana. Park is on lake which offers fishing and boating. WiFi was usable, but don't come here expecting to stream a bunch of netflix. Would be nice place to stop over for weekend or few days.

La Paz Valley RV Park - My Rating is 5 out of 5 -- I stayed here for the winter season 2015-2016. Six miles south of Quartzsite just beyond its sister park, Burrwood, lies LaPaz Valley. Do you like quiet and stars? This place is quiet. Lots of stars. Wifi is typical DSL (can sometimes stream on it, but don't count on it). Lots of ATVers live here and play with the Monkey Brigade. Rec room is adequate. Laundry has 2 washers, 2 dryers. Not a lot of planned activities, unlike its sister park. Few pull through spots, but if coming in Jan don't count on them. Mostly 30 amp spots, with maybe 10-15 50amps. People are nice here. Quick walk from the Desert Golf Course.

Lazy Lake RV Park - My Rating is 4 out of 5 -- I stayed here in March of 2015. Campground is nice with big lake in middle. Not a lot of shade in the sites. Pine trees don't provide much shade. Nice grassy play area for the kids. Grass sites with 30/50 posts. Park is off the beaten path enough to be quiet, except for the nearby concrete plant. This park would make a nice base for the winter season.

Dalmont’s RV Park - My Rating is 4 out of 5 -- I stayed here in Oct 2015 for a couple of days. Small in town park with gravel with a small bit of shade. Park has nice mix of pull thrus and back in spots. The WiFi was fast (Comcast) and I was able to easily stream Netflix. Management was very nice and gave us a few tips on the good food in the area. Bathroom/Shower room was clean and had code lock on door. Park is located in town on busy street so was a bit noisy from traffic and trains. Also auto shop next door contributed to noise. Would be nice place for weekend or stop over, but I probably would not want to long term here.

Holiday Palms RV Park - My Rating is 5 out of 5 -- I've been in this park many times. This is one of the higher end parks in Quartzsite and has more of a Tucson or Yuma feel to it. The roads are paved and lined with palm trees. Its honestly like a little neighborhood. The streets have names here. Lots of permanent structures like sheds, park models and screen rooms. Rec hall is constantly busy with activities. Laundry is nice and well kept. Park even has car wash and oil change area. Holiday Palms is located on main street in town, yet is set back from the road and is quiet. This would make a perfect home base for someone looking to stay all season, or all year. For those just staying a few days they have plenty of pull through spots that each have their own picnic table.

Blue Sky Ranch RV Park - My Rating is 5 out of 5 -- I stayed here in October 2015 for a couple of days. Park is nice, gravel spots with concrete pads. Nice selection of pull through and back in spots. Like most parks in Yuma (and S AZ for that matter) there were lots of long term seasonal residents. Rec center was nice as was showers/bathroom areas. Management was nice and accommodating our late check in. WiFi was a decent speed, I think we even streamed netflix. Park borders a canal for dog walks. Residents were friendly. I can easily imagine this park full of people with lots of activities. Would make nice base for season.

Artesia RV Park - My Rating is 4 out of 5 -- I stayed at this park for a weekend in October 2015. The sites were decent sizes and gravel. Showers and laundry was nice and well kept. Most sites (if not all) were pull through. Not a lot of shade trees. Camp office had decent selection of RV accessories. Dog walk area was nice green grassy and large. Close to town, within walking distance for food and downtown. Only negative is the entire area was large gravel rocks. Lots of gravel noise as people drove in campground. Would be fine for short stop over, but I wouldn't want to spent long time here.

Burrwood RV Park - My Rating is 5 out of 5 -- I've spent a lot of time in this park visiting friends. The park is mostly long term snowbirds with lots of activities. Rec Room/Clubhouse is nice with live music occasionally. Wifi is 3mb DSL and can be slow at times, but typically OK for email and the like. The park is 6 miles south of Quartzsite and is quiet but worth the drive. No pull through spots. Park can seem crowded at times because lots of long terms have sheds and have built screen rooms. If you're into ATVing this is one of the best places to stay. The park has a ATV wash station and trails are close (with BLM land across the street). This park is home to the Monkey Brigade - an ATV offroad club. They go out twice a week or more to explore the 1000 miles of trails in the area.

Road Runner 14-Day Camping Area BLM - My Rating is 5 out of 5 -- I stayed here in Oct 2016, before the madness that is Quartzsite in January. Its BLM land, so the sites are as big as you want them to be. Some shaded, some open. Just find what you want. No hookups, just you and nature. OK to run generator til 10pm. Water and dump is available a few miles away. Its quiet and dark. Can see lots of stars. Close to HWY 95, but traffic is not bad typically. There was not a host when I was there so I had to check in at LTVA close to Quartzsite. Ranger was nice. BLM is a wonderful idea.

I-10 Kampground - My Rating is 5 out of 5 -- We stayed at this park from March to June 2015. Management was nice and easy to deal with. Pool was open from Mem Day and clean despite the rains and wind. Bathrooms were typical of a campground or truck stop. Mngmnt quickly dealt with issues. Wifi was ok, but slow, too many people on one dsl line. Park had cable tv throughout. Laundry was 4 washers/4 dryers. Lots of long term campers at this park. Nice park, lots of grass. Typical site was grass, decent size. 30 amp most places, some 50 available. Close to food, grocery, interstate. No rec/meeting area, but nice pool. Nice field with big oak tree for picnics. Park was close to major road (Theodore Dawes /CR-30) and interstate and therefore traffic noise constant with sirens, etc. Nice park however. Locals are friendly. I'd stay here again if in area.

Tombstone Territories RV Resort - My Rating is 5 out of 5 -- We stayed here in October of 2015. This was one of the nicest parks I've ever visited. Sites are 80 foot long pull through, concrete and level. 50 amp at every site. Each site has its own picnic table. Park is set in valley with beautiful views on three sides. Camp hosts and management very friendly. Very quiet at night, no road noise. Indoor heated pool and hot tub was very nice touch. Showers/rest room area was extremely clean and very nice. Rec area was spacious with a nice comfy library/reading room as well. Wifi was ok, usable. I dream that someday every RV park will be like this one. This is a park built by a RVer who spared no expense.

The Ranch (Escapees Membership Park) - My Rating is 2 out of 5 -- We stayed here for a week in October 2015. Park is limited to Escapees Members only. The good: Park itself was beautiful, in a protected pasture. Lots of wildlife in park - we saw rabbits, quail, roadrunners, and Mexican Ground Squirrels. Sites were gravel and spacious. Some had permanent buildings on them like storage sheds and the like. Park members were nice as well. We are younger (I'm in my 40s, my wife just turned 50) and did not feel out of place, but we were the youngest people there by a decade or so. Laundry facility was nice, Wifi was ok as well. No showers, but bathrooms were available in clubhouse. Clubhouse had honor system in fridge for snacks and drinks. The bad: The lady running the front office was belligerent and difficult to deal with. She threw rocks at our cat (who like most cats, got out of the motorhome). The park has a serious not pet friendly vibe. The dog area was sandy and forgotten about. We mentioned to front desk we were staying extra days, she said sure no problem, but forgot and made big stink making us leave. Told us we had to leave immediately, then called while we were packing up to make sure we were leaving. Left rude messages on phone as well. Because it took a while for us to pack up (our awning was stuck open) she mentioned if she knew we'd take that long we could have paid for extra nite. It was this park that caused me to not renew my Escapees membership. I've never been treated so badly. tl;dr Park is nice, management is crazy.

Buck Creek RV Park - My Rating is 5 out of 5 -- We stayed here in October 2015 for a weekend. Park was nice. Every site was a pull through. Bathroom/laundry was clean. Front desk manager was nice. Wifi was good. Sites were gravel, level and spacious. Park was quiet even though not far from I-20. Nice base to explore Abilene or for a weekend stopover.

Salmon Lake Park - My Rating is 5 out of 5 -- We stayed at this park for a weekend in September 2015. Park is on 50 acres. Spots are grass and roomy. No laundry (tbh, did not ask). Bathroom/Showers are 'rustic' yet usable. Ice was self serve -honor system which was nice touch. Park borders pasture so cows are sometimes present. Spots were mostly 30 amp and power posts older and could use updating, Wifi was usable. The park was a neat experience. The owner bought a towns worth of old buildings and recreated a old west style town. Some Buildings were available for special events. Treehouses available for rent as well. Park is off the beaten path and worth the stop if you like funky. . The funky of the town and quiet outweighed any negative about up keep. Don't expect the Hilton, expect funky and you'll be fine.

Quiet Oaks RV Park - My Rating is 5 out of 5 -- We stayed here from June to September 2015. Nice park. Quiet. Well maintained. Some shade. Spots are grass and roomy. Mostly 30amp, but some 50amp spots available. Had plenty of pull through spots as well as back in. Laundry consisted of 2 washers and 2 dryers. Had dollar changer next to machines (nice touch). When I was there they had quite a few long term residents and did offer mail boxes if needed. Nearest town just has gas station, nearest food is either 10 miles either way. Had special deal for weekly or monthly rates. I hope my travels take me down there once more, I'd stay at this park again..
