Shooting Star RV Resort - My Rating is 5 out of 5 -- We stayed here for a night while visiting the Escalante Petrified Forest and Grand Staircase. It was the best place to stay! My husband is very anti RV parks. He likes to stay as far away from civilization as possible. I love a bathroom and shower! This was the perfect in between. The owners moved us to a great spot where we could hang our 4 hammocks, without being crowded next to RV's or other campers. It had lots of shade, and easy access to the facilities. The drive in movie on Saturday night was so much fun! We were able to reserve a convertible and watch Cannonball Run under the stars. This is something my kids have never experienced before as all the drive ins in our area have been long gone. I can't say enough good about the resort and the owners. We want to plan another trip just to stay - and next time get one of the Airstreams!
