FAQ

You control the view and your experience

Q: What is the best way to experience this?
A: We are providing you up to 4K 360 video files with integrated augmented data. Your best bet is a big screen with solid and fast internet. The experience will down sample (load a grainier video) on slow internet speeds and has been designed to work on mobile too.

Q: Should I hold my phone landscape or portrait?
A: We designed it for you to hold your phone in landscape mode.

Q: Where do I download the APP?
A: There is no need to download an APP. The experience will work just fine using your mobile browser.

Q: I thought you said there would be 400 tours available?
A: There will be and we are bringing them to you fast.

Q: What if I have a serious problem or find a bug?
A: There is a bug reporting form under each video.

Q: What should I expect going forward?
A: We will be rapidly upgrading the experience. We are also working diligently to bring more tours to you. You should expect to see steady improvements and growing numbers of tours.

Q: How come {insert campground name} does not have all the sites?
A: There are a number of reasons and they vary greatly including: The loop was closed, the sites were closed, the sites were not shot, the information is not available from Recreation.gov, etc. You can report those issues to us also.

Congratulations! You get it. You are well on your way to achieving what may be the Holy Grail of modern day campers. Yours is an effort so far unsurpassed by the many, many camp site finders I have looked at so I consider the format, data collection and updating methodology nothing short of genius.” LZ, Ohio
