  1. We’ve camped here twice, mainly for the location. If you want to be in Tahoe and near the city, it’s a good choice. It’s all dry so plan ahead, no showers either. The sites themselves get a 4 because they have nice tables and fire ring, separated nicely with asphalt pads, not level but not too challenging. They have re-designed the campground and changed the site numbers, so call ahead to make sure your rig will fit the spot reserved. What you see online may not be accurate. Example: Site 5 said 40 foot, but turned out to be around 20. Not good if the place is booked. We got lucky with one open site that was about 35 foot.
