Lower sites are mixed in with large shade trees while upper sites have majestic views looking across the valley. A large office area has recreation and relaxation spaces.
The park is well cared for and one of the premier spots in the Asheville area. Favored by adults versus families the park does not have a pool or playground but is still suitable for families looking to stay in a well cared for spot while touring area attractions.
