Springbrook State Park - My Rating is 3 out of 5 -- 15-20 minutes off I-80 but secluded and full of trees. Lots of hiking trails and wildlife to watch. Operated by Iowa DNR. Clean restrooms and showers. A fun place for kids. I love this place for a weekend getaway.
Cherry Hill Park - My Rating is 5 out of 5 -- Spectacular facility and great for people interested in visiting our nations capitol. I can't think of any accommodation that was left out. They even have dog walkers if your stay at the monuments are extended.
