Noble Creek Park RV Sites - My Rating is 5 out of 5 -- Great find! Thank you CampgroundViews.com! This park was perfect. They had a ball tournament over the weekend and all the concrete sites were taken so we got the dirt ones instead... no big deal. Our carpets worked great and it was a lot of fun watching the kids play ball. On Saturday the RC track was open and it was free to watch; this is a competitive track so the cars/ buggies were really moving. The rate is $30 per night paid at the office during the week. DO NOT try to drive to the office if you have a big RV; either walk up (it is a trek) or drive another vehicle up from the RV area. For some reason the park delineates their entry drive ways with large metal poles which makes it very difficult to enter/ exit. Verizon 4G and phone was excellent. This time of year presented us with beautiful skies and crisp cool nights. The mountains to the north were stunningly white with snow and the big mountain above Palm Springs to the east looked like an image from the Swiss Alps from snow too. If you ride mountain bikes there are some decent dirt roads and trails in the big open area north of the park. You can ride direct from camp and get some good cardio spinning along the trails. On the east side of this area there is a nice pump and jump track (completely not official) with some huge gaps and air opportunities. It did rain during our stay and the dirt parking area became 1" deep mud. If you happen to come here when it is raining it will be muddy. There are no fire pits at the site but we did luck into a picnic table. There is a community fire pit located over near the concrete parking pads. Propane is available at the TrueValue OR at the Shell Station near Interstate 10. Don't fill up at the gas station to the west of here it was a good 50 cents per gallon more than the stations 5 miles to the southeast.

Del Mar Fairgrounds RV Sites - My Rating is 5 out of 5 -- Absolutely no complaints about this little known amazing RV campsite. Now the sites themselves are nothing to get excited about being that they are simply backins against a fence in a parking area. The sites were not level front to back or side to side... but so what! We paid $34 per night for 30 amp full hookups and could walk from our RV right out on to the tidal beach (at low tide) and out to the main beach in less than 20 minutes! This is super high dollar real estate and worked fine for us. In addition we stayed over the weekend and had a blast at 2 unrelated conventions taking place on the property! During the week there was little traffic although some of the delivery drivers did drive rapidly through the lot. Verizon 4G and phone was solid and fast. We did not get a chance to ride the trail north from the park but did see it and it looks good. During our stay the Solano entrance was closed for construction forcing us to drive right through the main part of the fairgrounds (through the main gates) and make a hard left turn to the RV sites. Onsite camphost was very nice. If you are in to kayaking check the tide charts. During high tide the tidal flat was completely full and would make for some great paddling.

Sweetwater Summit Campground - My Rating is 5 out of 5 -- What a lovely place to spend some time camping in the San Diego area. Excellent Verizon 4G signal and amazing sunsets and sunrises. Regarding the mountain biking it is amazing here. I was able to do a powerful 1 hour ride that climbed to the top of the big mountain to the right. We were here during rainy season which was not a big deal except if you had to go to the hookup side of the trailer; the mud was pretty bad over there. A benefit of the rain was how green everything was = amazing. One morning I captured a beautiful photo of the rays of the rising sun. The park staff is nice. They are not lenient on their "extra vehicle" rules so make sure if you can tow a vehicle you do otherwise it is $5 per night extra!. Excellent space between sites. We were in 144 which was a nicely situated backin with a great view of the mountains. Our departure date had us leaving right in the middle of the big rain storm so we moved sites to wait out the rain. The second site was number 69 which is a pull thru; it has a very steep exit grade but otherwise was great. The park, as we learned from a few neighbors, is popular for guests of the Thousand Trails Pio Pico Park to use as their "1 week out" stay. A lot of the RVs were there for a week and then left. This explained why it was so hard for us to find a site for more than a week at a time. We paid on average $38 per night for a 3 week stay and enjoyed every second.

Porcupine Flat Campground - My Rating is 5 out of 5 -- We lucked in to an awesome site way back in this small campground. Our truck camper fit and the way the site was setup we were essentially all alone for our night of camping. This "all alone" became a bit scary in the morning while cooking breakfast when a large black bear circled the camp by 100 yards! The vault toilets were clean and in our opinion this is one of the better places to camp in Yosemite.

Upper Pines Campground - My Rating is 3 out of 5 -- We made last minute reservations to camp here in August 2016. There is no privacy between sites and they have a ton of rules. At check in they make you sign a document stating you will not store food in your vehicle. Overall you are made to feel like a child but at the same time after camping here one night I can totally see why! Everybody and anybody camps here; a lot of people who clearly have never camped before. We brought the bikes along and rode the bike path which was great. Other than camping in Yosemite Valley there is no reason to come to this campground. We had a lot more fun and enjoyed ourselves way more staying at some of the lesser known campgrounds in the park. Verizon cell and data worked here. We camped in a truck camper.

Prado Regional Park Campground - My Rating is 5 out of 5 -- $35 per night for peace and quiet. Great setup to accommodate bigger RVs and overall great place to stay. Very nice views at night and lovely lake during the day. An active ranger presence makes us fell comfortable. The only issue is traffic in this area... it sucks. Verizon 4G was fast and hd over the air was 156 channels!!! We will stay many more times. Great park.

Rancho Jurupa Park RV Park and Campground - My Rating is 5 out of 5 -- Top notch all the way through. This is a really nice RV park especially the Cottonwood area. If this was a private campground in this area with these amenities it would easily be $60 per night. As is we paid $40 per night. Nice splash pad, quiet at night, great trails, nice ambiance and a challenging putt putt course. If you have a chance check out the nearby nature center very fun. Verizon 4G struggled a bit here and over the air channels were non-existent (amazingly!). We will stay again.

Tri-County Fairgrounds Bishop RV Park - My Rating is 4 out of 5 -- Price is a bit higher now at $30 per night but for what you get it is worth it. We timed it perfect to have the park nearly to ourselves. Very quiet day and night this a great place to stay. We walked over to the city park and noticed that Bishop is struggling through some issues with local teens. A lot of punks and wanna be gang bangers hanging around. Even saw some harass another young man; they stopped when they saw us coming their way. Short walk to main street and the grocery this is a nice stop when going to or coming from the higher Sierras or Reno. Verizon 4G and phone was solid.

Trails End RV Park - My Rating is 4 out of 5 -- $30 per night for 50 amp full hookups on new gravel pads with nice large concrete patios. The park is well kept with active and friendly onsite camp hosts and friendly long term tenants. When you first drive up the park seems kind of off-putting as it is located off alone behind the railroad tracks. Once inside everything changes the park is clean and tidy. There are a number of long term guests but nothing scary. Verizon 4G and phone worked great. Bathrooms and showers were clean. Maybe heard 5 small planes in total during our 1 week stay (note we were told that the worst time is when fires are in the area because the helicopters use the airport... we thought that was neat). Now about Tehachapi... it is a rail town and has a huge volume of rail traffic. There is a crossing a short distance away so they do blow their horns. We enjoyed it, you might not. We enjoyed walking down main street to the old depot and seeing the historic train artifacts... you may not. We also enjoyed the two lovely toy stores in town and the nice small town feel of the area... you should. Our tip of the week is to absolutely drive the 20 minutes to see the Tehachapi Loop... for rail buffs this is a pilgrimage location and was very cool to see a long train drive OVER itself! Overall we enjoyed our stay and will absolutely be back to this nice RV park in Tehachapi.

Schoodic Woods Campground - My Rating is 5 out of 5 -- Holy national park batman this place rocked! Thank you Campground Views for the great pictures, video and description. Could not find much online and relied upon you and wow what a place. We flew up to New Hampshire and rented a small camper from Cruise America. Spent 4 days at this campground and found our new happy place. Absolutely perfect campground, if only they had sewer connections. Great ranger led programs, amazing hiking and the ocean is incredible. Had the time of our lives what a place. A little pricey but $40 per night for this is well worth it. Nice little coffee shop in Winter Harbor too! Again thank you for your work. We love you for showing us places like this!!

Laramie RV Resort by Rjourney - My Rating is 3 out of 5 -- Nice folks in the office and Laramie is such a great town it made up for the constant hum of the interstate right there. We were two rows over from it and the highway out there must be grooved weird because it is not so much engine noise as it is a high pitch tire hum. Not bad when you are sleeping with the fan on but still too noisy to be peaceful at night. The Territorial Prison is just down the road and an absolute must see. Verizon data and phone worked good and the fuel stop is right on the way back towards (or off) the interstate. Met some of the locals living in the mobile homes around the park and that was great. A few worked on the trains and some others with the state; lots of great stories and nice folk. We couldn't get in at the fairgrounds because they had a 4H event going on.

Sweetwater Events Complex Campground - My Rating is 5 out of 5 -- For us this was five stars through and through. We stayed on Saturday night and on Sunday was their annual fair... no problem getting a site for $25. I have no doubt that they do have 1200 sites here it is amazing. Must have spent $500,000 on electricity boxes and cable alone! The hookups are a bit funky with the water and electric separated from your site by 3 additional feet to the rear; we had plenty of line. All the sites are in "stalls" you can park however you want in the stall. Shorter trailer? Use it as a pull thru. Bigger one like ours? Just backin. They had a motocross race going on at the track and a rodeo in the grounds. How cool is that. Very quiet at night and a fun atmosphere in the day. Thanks Campground Views you sure helped us out with this one. Your video and pics look just like the place too.

Rock Springs / Green River KOA - My Rating is 3 out of 5 -- Good lord thank you CampgroundViews.com for saving me from this place. The wife originally had us staying here but after perusing the site and finding out about Sweetwater Fairgrounds we stayed there instead. Stopped by here to see if I choose right and oh boy we did. We would have paid $40 to be packed in like sardines with the freeway noise and dust to welcome us. As noted in the description the tent sites were the best thing about this park. No way is it worth the money. being said if you do like KOAs it is not that bad. Just for us Sweetwater was the better choice.
