Tom Sawyer’s RV Park - My Rating is 2 out of 5 -- I just wanted to provide our experience. We made a reservation in Sept. for this weekend. I called and attempted to cancel it on Oct 28 (35 days before our check in). I spent 10 minutes on the phone with a woman who barely spoke English and could not locate our reservation. (It was painful. Not a judgment.) Today we received a voice mail saying we would be charged $40 for a no show.
My husband called and we had to "prove" we called to cancel. (Thank you to keeping records) We were then told we would be charged $10 for canceling a reservation. No where on their website or at the time of making the reservation did they say there would be a fee.
We've stayed here before and the park is nice; however, we won't ever make a reservation there and I recommend not making one unless you want a headache trying to change/cancel and be charged random fees.
