Ambassador RV Resort - My Rating is out of 5 -- Stayed one night in July 2021. Nice RV park. Clean, manicured and organized. Some sites are long term stays. Gravel pull through site with grass in between was easily accessible. Good hookups. We would stay again. 33 foot 5th wheel.

Indian Creek RV Campground - My Rating is out of 5 -- Overnight stop. Called ahead for reservation and late arrival. They left our site info taped to the office door. Easy access to a pull thru site. We left before the office opened again. They charged our card - no issues. We would stop again.

Willow Park Group Campground - My Rating is out of 5 -- Nice place for an overnight stop. Visited relatives in the area. Easy to find, cheap and we were pretty much the only ones there. Basically big grass area with a gravel road cut through. Pull thru level sites with table and fire pit/grill. We stayed in late April 2021 in a 5th wheel.

Cherry Hill Water Park Campground - My Rating is 4 out of 5 -- We stayed at Cherry Hill Campground in May 2018 just prior to the water park opening. This was a one night stop over as we were traveling through. While the spots are pull through they are not overly spacious. The roads are fairly narrow to make you swing in or out of your pull through site. We did not have any issues but there was no one on either side of us or across the road when we were pulling in or out. I can see that it may be tight if it was full and large rigs were using their full site. Staff was pleasant and the park was conveniently located near the freeway. We stayed in a 34 ft 5th wheel pulled by a crew cab long bed.

Southside RV Park - My Rating is 3 out of 5 -- Nice campground in Dillon, Mt. Mostly gravel sites with some grass strips in between. Easy access pull throughs and some back-in. Well maintained. Clean shower building that requires code to enter. Owners/managers were pleasant and helpful. Campground within walking distance of the university and places to eat. Nearyby train was not even noticed. We would stay again. We stayed in an 5th wheel in May 2018.

KOA Needles - My Rating is 3 out of 5 -- We have used this KOA for years while traveling through. It has easy access from freeway, staff is always friendly and accommodating. Sites are easy access pull thru, level and some privacy with oleanders between. I have never had a need to stay in the area for more than one night, but for stop over - it is great.

Spanish Trail RV Park & Campground - My Rating is 3 out of 5 -- We spent 3 nights here in Oct 2016. We arrived in Moab with no reservations and found every park full. Spanish Trail RV Park was able to get us in one of their "overflow" dry spots. Absolutely nothing fancy as it was a gravel back in site along the fence line right next to your neighbor. However, it was a place to stay and use as basecamp as we toured the area. No complaints as it was only $25 per night with jumpstation and water available. We did not use any facilities at the park.

Black Canyon Of The Gunnison Np South Rim Campground - My Rating is 3 out of 5 -- We spent 2 nights here in Oct 2016 for $22 per night with electric service. Smaller campground with a variety sizes of campsites. Not too many for larger rigs. Convenient campground as it is within the Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park and only a few minutes from the visitor center. Very quiet. No cell service with Verizon.

San Luis State Wildlife Area Campground - My Rating is 4 out of 5 -- We stayed at this campground in Oct 2016. This was a 1 night stay over while we visited Great Sand Dunes National Park. This park is remote, as is everything around here! It is about 30 minutes from the national park. The campground has partial hook ups - elec and water. The sites are on a little rise in the area giving great desert views. Great Sand Dunes are seen in the distance. Great sunrise and sunsets. VERY black sky. Sites are level and easy to access. We would stay again.

Chatfield State Park Campground - My Rating is 4 out of 5 -- We stayed here in Oct 2016. Nice campground. It was after the main season so it was pretty slow. Nice campground. Sites were level and easy to access. The different loops have different hook up levels. We stayed in a loop with electric and water. Nice area, quiet, pretty, nice sunrises and sunsets. Many bike trails around the area. We used this as campground while we visited family nearby. Stayed here 5 days and will use it again next visit.

Zion Canyon Campground and RV Park - My Rating is 4 out of 5 -- We stayed at this park in Sept 2016 in a 5th wheel. The reservation process is difficult as it is done as a request online. You don't get an answer for a day, so it took me several days to finally pin down what was available and finalize my plans. The staff at the park are very friendly. Park is conveniently located just 1/4 mile from Zion National Park entry and Visitor Center. There is a shuttle stop at the front of the campground. Sites are level and mostly easy to back into. Not overly spacious, but you spend most of you day in the park and not in the campground. We would stay here again.

Utah Lake State Park Campground - My Rating is 3 out of 5 -- We stayed in this park in Sept 2016. There were very few other campers present. The lake level was very low and this was late in the season so very little activity. Very nice campground. Sites and restrooms are well maintained. Easy access for both pull thru and back in. Sites had electric and water. Dump station located near the entrance. The strange issue was they lock the ENTRY gates at 10 PM this time of year (Sept). So, you have to be back by 10PM or you get locked out. We would stay again.

Outlaw Trail RV Park - My Rating is 3 out of 5 -- We stayed here in Sept 2016 in a 5th wheel. Nice basic park just off the highway at the intersection to Dinosaur National Park and the quarry. Level, gravel sites, easy pull thru access, very friendly and helpful staff. We would stay again. Reasonable rates.

Winding River Resort Village - My Rating is 3 out of 5 -- Stayed her in October 2016 for 7 days. Spacious park that is separated into 3 areas. The full hook ups in the front area area nice and typical campground type sites being somewhat apart from each other. The middle sections sites are water and electric only but are spacious and easy to back into. The full hook ups at the rear of the park are all in a line and closer tougher, but they are full hook ups. We were in the middle section with water and electric and loved it. Dump station, laundry, showers and trash are all nearby. Staff was very nice and gave helpful advise for local truck repair.

Whispering Elms Campground - My Rating is 4 out of 5 -- Campground across the highway from Great Basin NP Visitors Center. Easy in/out. Pull thru sites are spacious. Not spectacular, but the best thing around for easy access and hookups.
